The 2025 Indigenous Connections Summit: A Collective Drive Toward Economic Reconciliation 

From March 11 to 13, 2025, the inaugural edition of the Indigenous Connections Summit brought together 400 participants united by a shared goal: building a future rooted in reconciliation and economic innovation. With a dynamic program and a structured framework based on three pillars – Understand, Act, Measure – the Summit placed Indigenous voices at the heart of the dialogue, while launching an interactive AI-powered tracking tool.

📊 The Reconciliation AI, an innovative tool developed by the Ashukan Institute, harnessing collective intelligence to identify barriers and guide effective action. 

🌱 Growing momentum, reflecting a strong and genuine commitment to building a more just, equitable, and sustainable future. 

🔍 The first summit focused on reconciliation in the economic sector, paving the way for future, equally dynamic editions that will explore other vital dimensions of reconciliation.

Conferences and Thematic Panels

The exchanges were structured around five key strategic axes, each addressing crucial issues for the economic future of First Peoples:

  • Access to Capital for Indigenous Populations 
  • Strategies and Issues Related to Procurement 
  • Human Resources of First Nations and Inuit 
  • Economic Agreements with First Peoples 

These panels fostered a rich and constructive dialogue, bringing together dedicated leaders and experts from Indigenous communities as well as from all areas of government and the economy. Through the collaboration with key organizations recognized for their expertise and impact, the Summit was able to delve deeply, thoughtfully, and relevantly into these themes, fostering concrete solutions for sustainable economic reconciliation

Speed Networking

A speed networking activity, powered by SEIZE03, provided participants with a unique opportunity to develop their professional network in a dynamic and efficient way.. Each meeting was optimized, allowing participants to plan exchanges with potential partners and explore new avenues for collaboration.This initiative sparked requests for more similar opportunities in the future, demonstrating its great success.
