Jason is originally from Kangirsuk, Nunavik. After earning a Master’s in Education from Columbia University, he spent eight years in post-secondary education, teaching accredited Inuktitut courses at the CEGEP level, advising students, and holding leadership roles in educational management. In 2018, he completed an MBA at McGill and HEC Montréal, leading him to shift his career toward economic development. In 2021, he joined Makivvik, where he currently serves as Director of Business Development and President of the Nunavik Investment Corporation.
