A member of the Missanabie Cree First Nation, Craig is a recognized Indigenous leader with over 20 years of experience in Indigenous relations. He has served as a band councilor in his community, a negotiator with the federal government for 13 years, and more recently, as the Chief Executive Officer of the Assembly of First Nations (AFN). Craig resides on Treaty No. 7 territory with his wife Sarah and their two children. As Senior Director of Social Affairs at the AFN and Chief Operating Officer at Maurice Law, he led large organizations and managed substantial budgets while fostering respectful work environments. He has extensive knowledge of government systems, as well as the cultures, customs, and traditions of First Nations, allowing him to analyze and assess the cultural impacts on discussions. Craig joined Deloitte to support the launch of R8dius across Canada. In this role, he meets with Indigenous communities and leaders to present R8dius's services and initiatives, including efforts to integrate Indigenous talent into STEM opportunities through their programs.
