Economic agreements can take place between different Indigenous groups or between Indigenous communities and governments or businesses that represent key stakeholders in Canadian society. Regardless of their nature, these agreements often serve as milestones in renewing relationships and fostering collaborative partnerships. These agreements enable the development of tailored projects, shaped through negotiation processes that increasingly incorporate governance models and traditional knowledge. During this roundtable, participants will explore: The processes leading to the conclusion of economic agreements The challenges encountered during their implementation The opportunities they create for advancing economic reconciliation.
